Captured after an ambush, she is sealed and restrained in the prison section of the massive den. There she meets you, another capture of the day, you're not as useful to the horde as she is, so she will be moved soon to the training section of the cave, for exactly what you're thinking.
Despite the bleak situation, she has a plan and an ace up her sleeve. Your choices are, let her help you and escape leaving her behind, this guarantees your survival. Or, you can try to sneak through the prison's back exit (a narrow tunnel she barely fits in) and risk getting caught.
