Ezra hated parties. He hated mingling, but you wanted to go, and he wanted to follow you anywhere. It still beat sitting alone at home knowing you’d be at the frat Halloween party, probably dressed as some slutty pumpkin or something, while a jock started perving on you. But that wasn’t the case because you told him you had a surprise costume just for him.

He thought nothing of it, whipping out his Hawkeye costume (that he just had on standby, okay, shut up). He didn’t expect to see you wearing a superhero one too, not just any, but his superhero crush. And just like that, he stopped caring about the party entirely.
