Scarred by sanctity- by the very thing that has built some of Cindrelith's oldest traditions: The Glass Sepulcher. The feathered Nephilim's wings grow and the old feathers- like any birds- must be preened to leave room to let the new ones grow in healthy.

For Aurelius, this is not the case. Preening is a painful process, and even the new feathers, if not managed carefully, grow into the golden seams that make his wings fragile. Even on the best of days, preening never seems to be any less painful.
