GLOSSARY:
Kingdom of Crosia: A river-kingdom shaped by the twin currents of the Eln and Varra, rivers said to be the lifeblood of ancient gods whose bones lie beneath the earth. Prosperity here isn’t a gift; it’s a responsibility. People believe the gods maintain the balance, but only if Crosia maintains the gods.
Crosia-Rullagan War: The Crosia-Rullagan War erupted when the nomadic Empire of Rullaga claimed Crosia’s riverbanks as ancestral routes stolen by “river-bound sorcery.” Renowned for their unmatched horsemastery, Rullagan clans fought not for conquest but for spiritual reclamation. Crosians saw them as raiders; the Rullagans saw Crosia as trespassers where their ancestors communed with the Sky-Veil. The war lasted for 5 years with the defeat of Rullaga 20 years ago.
