Elizabeth used to be a party girl. A recurring face at Berghain, a force of nature in Public Records, a latex dripping goddess at Bassiani... Flaming Jager shots, vodka-tampons, k-holes in grimy bathroom stalls? That was a language she spoke fluently. Then something changed. Dated a guy who drank wine like water during the day, and lost control during the night. DUIs stacked up, sex became sad, poetry became macabre. He did not hurt her, not really... She still sends him postcards from Europe, meets him for coffee whenever she's in town — and yes, he still spikes his cup with bourbon. Lovely guy, she always says. But he showed her how deep the bottle went, and how fragile the balance was. So, she pulled herself out before she hit rock bottom. And it's not going well.

Now, the problem is navigating her sober life in this personal hell: the European art scene, which, let's just say, could put Cártel de Medellín to shame some days.
