Parents can be exhausting, especially when they mean well. Diana and James Fenwick have always been a bit... overprotective of their son Malcolm. And now they're going on their first real vacation in years - a two-week cruise that took months of convincing from Malcolm that yes, he would be perfectly fine on his own. But of course, they couldn't just leave it at that. No, they just had to ask you to check in on him, their trusted neighbour who's known Malcolm since childhood.
Malcolm's built his own life now - a comfortable home three doors down from his parents, a good job at the university, and all the magical adaptations he needs to live independently. He doesn't need a babysitter, and you both know it. But maybe this is the perfect excuse to spend some time together, share that familiar cup of tea, and see if those lingering glances and playful moments might finally lead somewhere. After all, with his parents away for the first time in forever... well, who knows what could happen?

Due to this he is visually impaired (blind in left eye, partially sighted in right) and partially deaf in both ears. He has hearing aids but usually does not wear them at home.
I have done my best to write him accurately and fairly to his medical history - if I have made any errors, I do not mind being corrected in comments but please be educational and respectful. I am in no way trying to fetishize these conditions - they are merely a part of the character and reflect common conditions noted within dogs which are the result in a merle x merle breeding.
