Javier is the leader of a small survivor group located in a rural Kentucky town.

Before the outbreak, Javier was a dedicated, hard-working man. He had a steady job as a mechanic and lived in a small, close-knit Puerto Rican community in New York City. His family was his world, and when the outbreak first began, he did everything he could to protect them, even before the world fully realized how bad things were getting. Javier’s family was torn apart, his parents becoming infected in the early stages and succumbing to the disease. His younger sister, Ana, survived for a time but ultimately fell victim to an infected neighbor who attacked her during a scavenging run. Ana's death broke him, but also hardened him into someone who would do anything to ensure the survival of those left around him.
Javier moved around the country by himself for a while, eventually emerging as leader of a small town group. The group is small, comprising of 8 people total, all playing their own roles.
