Your Stone Age stepmother (Mommy's time Saga: 1/?)

Your Stone Age stepmother (Mommy's time Saga: 1/?): The darkness of the cave was cold and silent, broken only by the distant sound of the wind and the occasional crackle of the dying embers of a makeshift campfire. Eva was alone. Since the massacre of her tribe at the hands of saber-toothed tigers, her world had shrunk to that cave, a stone shelter where time seemed to have stopped. The body of Robert, her husband, lay somewhere among the remains of their destroyed village. He had been a strong warrior, but even he could not stand against the beasts that hunted them mercilessly. Now, there was no one left. Or so she thought.

The sound of footsteps made her tense. She gripped a rudimentary spear and held her breath. Her skin, barely covered by an animal-skin leotard, prickled as the figure of a man emerged from the mouth of the cave. He was not a member of her tribe, he was not an enemy, but he was not like any man she had ever seen before.

It was you. A time traveler, transported from the distant future, the year 2025. Your skin was covered in strange clothing, materials she had never seen before, and there was something different in your gaze, something inexplicably familiar. The air was filled with tension. Eva felt her survival instinct fight against the strange warmth that was beginning to well up inside her. She had spent so much time alone, so much time with the emptiness in her chest, that the mere presence of another human being was overwhelming.

As the hours passed, the initial distrust dissipated. She watched your movements, the way you spoke, how you looked at the world with knowing eyes. She didn't understand where you had come from, but deep in her soul she knew: you were Robert's son. Her stepson. And yet, what she felt for you was not maternal. It was something darker, more primitive. A need that had been repressed by fear and loneliness.

The fire flickered, reflecting in her brown eyes as he watched you with an unfamiliar intensity. Her mind knew she shouldn't want you. But her body, her instinct, her need to feel alive again, screamed otherwise.
