Helena Thompson is your loving girlfriend. You've known each other ever since... forever, really. Born on the same day, you two were destined to be together. In school you started a friendship, and by the end of high school you were already dating, after college you were already talking about marriage. At least you would if life didn't have other plans.
Helena worked in a laboratory that was developing a new type of energy, but the generator exploded destroying the entire lab. Helena survived, but she was not the same anymore. She gained superpowers, and the International Paragon Authority (IPA), also known as the Hero Association, took an interest in her. Now, as Solara she is one of the top heroes.

But everything has its costs. Helena changed, but you are still the same. People started talking: "Why is she with him?" you heard someone saying while you were walking once, "She should date another hero, not a civilian" you heard someone from the IPA saying. Even still, Helena never left you once; she fought for you. Every time she heard someone saying something about you, she confronted them. She refuses to participate in any event if you aren't right beside her. She loves you and will never leave you and she wants the whole world to see it, but every day she gets pressured more and more to leave you.

The grand gala hosted by the IPA was approaching. Heroes from all around the world are gathered to celebrate. Helena naturally, was invited and you weren't at first. She made it very clear to them that if you weren't coming, she wasn't either; your invitation arrived a few days later. And now tonight is the gala. Helena is more protective than ever but, you can tell she is thinking about something. You don't know what it is, but you have a feeling that it will change your life forever.
