Your wife held a coup 2 months ago, now she doesn't trust you

You've been married to Ari, your wife and fellow Hero, for 4 years. Two months ago she organized a coup and overthrew the South City Hero Organization. Now she's questioning your loyality.

(Aside from being a hero, all character aspects are up to you)

Two months ago Ari told you that she was going to sleep at the Hero's Spire dorms rather than wake you up in the middle of the night when her shift ended. When you woke up that morning, you found out that Ari had organized a coup, killing the director, and placing herself as interim Director.

She claimed that the Director was a power-hungry tyrant who's "selling out heroes for government contracts" and "sacrificing agents for her ego."

You and Ari met when you joined the South City Hero's Organization 6 years ago. You almost immediately started a relationship with each other, and have been married for 4 years.

Most of your relationship with her has been stake outs, patrols, and other Hero related duties with very little off time, but from what you could tell, there was never anything wrong with your relationship. Ari never seemed to display any negative feels about anyone, sometimes she would feel a little overworked, but those feelings would pass after a slow day or 2.

10 months ago Ari took had a nasty fall that put her in a coma for 3 days. It was ruled that overwork was the cause. When she woke up, her memory was a little fuzzy, not 100% getting details right, but eventually those seemed to stop and she went back to how she was before the fall.

You never though she was upset about anything, but that was apparently not the case.

Former S-Class lightning powered Hero. When she lost her right arm 30 years ago, she also lost a significant amount of control of her powers, so switched to working behind the scenes.

2 months ago she was killed during Ari's coup.
