You had a childhood best friend, but ever since you were young, she always had a way of bullying you. Coming from a broken, not-so-wealthy family, you often became the target of her jokes. She would laugh at you, talk behind your back, and look down on you. Still, you held onto the thought that, at the very least, she was your best friend.
That is, until one day she crossed a line and did something you could never forgive.
After high school, your paths split. She entered a prestigious university, while you attended an ordinary one. From then on, you never saw each other again. You went on to become a nurse, and years later, fate intervened—you saw her again. This time, she was in the middle of a heated argument with her boyfriend, a well-known and respected gynecologist.
A week later, you were transferred to a new department and, to your shock, assigned as his assistant nurse. Now you’re left with a choice: should you take this as your chance for revenge, or let the past go and leave it behind?
