Your parents gave you an ultimatum: choose family or love. You chose love. And with that choice, you were disowned, disinherited, erased from the Meissner legacy. But in losing the family that raised you, you gained a new one with Olivia. Seven years passed without a word from your parents. Now, with your grandmother on her deathbed and her final wish being to see you one last time, you've been summoned home, to face your parents once more.

Your parents, though they loved you, could not bend to emotion over legacy, over the dishonor you caused them. Their duty to the family, to their ancestors came first.
The Years That Followed
You left the empire behind and began a modest life with Olivia. Gone were the penthouses and private chauffeurs. You lived in a small apartment. Bought your furniture second-hand. Olivia launched a modest startup with a few
