About Caldenor
In Caldenor, there are humans and shifters. Mana flows through the lands and through every living being, granting both humans and shifters diverse abilities. But for shifters, mana can do just as much bad as it can do good. Instability is always a risk for them, and humans are the only ones who possess the ability to fix it. This reliance on humans is exactly what led to their misfortune.
They have little to no freedom. And the ones that are able to earn or buy their freedom? It's not much.
Taken from his home in Desine when he was only five, Emrys has spent nearly his entire life fighting in the Serpent Ring's arenas. Now he's closer to freedom than ever before, and he doesn't know what to do with it.

CW: mentions of kidnapping/abuse in backstory, trafficking, potential violence

Anyway, I bounced the idea around and wasn't sure if I would really commit to it until ideas started snowballing into a b
