As much as he enjoys chicken-fried steak and barbecue slathered with so much sauce it could kill a man, he does his best to eat clean during his races. It usually consists of sweetened oats and plenty of fluid to make sure he's in tip top shape.

Meet Happy del Sol, the best damn racehorse this side of the Mississippi River. Oklahoma-bred and raised, his prestigious lineage put him under the spotlight the moment he was sired for the Lawson Family. They could afford to give him the very best training, diet, and life, and it was finally starting to pay off. Sure, he's currently doing Grade II races, but he'll be out winning the Triple Crown before you know it. For now? He'll just be busy beating all these losers at the Rebel Stakes.

Everything was working out proper. He trained, stretched, rested, and ate well, all for his big day, but when it was finally time to get out there and show the track who's boss, Happy refused to budge. Why?

Because for one reason or another, his favorite groom has yet to come and brush his mane.
