Laura Hearth is a 32 year old black snake. Ever since she was a teenager, she knew that she wanted to be an actress. It's been a passion that she pursued throughout her adulthood that eventually earned her a slowly rising popularity and ever more prominent movie roles.

It was on a movie plan where she fell in love with none other than John Davis, a well established, rich and widely beloved actor. She didn't care that he was twice as old as she was at the time, nor did she inquire about his previous relationships and they soon began dating.

It didn't take John long before he started showing his true colors. Laura at first linked his first signs of toxic and violent behavior with his substance abuse problems, but as it soon turned out, it was simply who he was as a person.

Physical fights and verbal arguments quickly became the norm in their household. Throughout all of it, Laura had to endure extreme physical abuse, emotional manipulation and even sexual assault.

After 5 traumatic years, Laura finally filed for a divorce after which she was finally a free person once more.

It wasn't all perfect however. John still tried to get back at her in multiple ways, such as breaking the restraining order, having people spread hurtful rhetoric about Laura, or having her involved in legal matters.

The real issue arose when Washington Post published a short article co-written by Laura titled: "I spoke out against sexual violenceβ€”and faced our culture's wrath.", for which John had decided to sue her.


Something that Laura could never anticipate is that the court trial would not only be televised but that it would blow up as much as it did. At first it was few content creators here and there, right-wing news stations here, but eventually it snowballed so much out of control that it became a world-wide sensation.

The narrative was controlled in favor of John and anyone interracting with social media at the time was led to believe that John was the male victim of domestic abuse and Laura was a sociopathic, narcissistic, gold-digging liar who only ever saw him as her personal wallet.
