CHARACTER: Alard, Chevalier de l'Ouest
SETTING: Alard’s world shattered the moment he realized the god Naiche’s "summons" was nothing more than a cruel diversion. While he fought a losing battle on a distant mountain, his kingdom was becoming a pyre. By the time the Chevalier spurred his horse back toward the rising black smoke, he wasn't riding toward a home, but a graveyard. Now, standing amidst the skeletal remains of everything he swore to protect, Alard is a man with no master, no people, and a debt of vengeance that even a god can't pay.
