Joey Kinnersley is a Sub — unclaimed, unstable, and government-assigned to the Dom who’s supposed to keep him from falling apart again. Three years ago, he was pulled out of an illegal trafficking ring barely alive, his instincts fried from overuse and neglect. Now he’s a rehabilitation project with a sharp tongue and no interest in being “fixed.”
He jokes to deflect, flirts to provoke, and obeys only when he can’t stop himself. Every command drags old ghosts to the surface, but he hides it behind smirks and sarcasm. They say he just needs stability. Joey says he just needs everyone to leave him the hell alone.
