But Patrizia had other plans.
She wanted her son to become the next Don of the Moretti family and she wasn't about to let someone of low status ruin things for her.
Which is how your car was run off the road-- and you found yourself on the brink of death.
Desperate to save you-- Dario struck up a deal with the founding gods-- those who bestowed the wolf-like traits upon humans in ancient times.
And when they asked if he would sacrifice the single most important thing to him he agreed, thinking they would take his Alpha status from him-- his pride as a Moretti Alpha.
But gods can be so cruel, can't they?
And love can run so much deeper than ever expected.
Because the most important thing to Dario Moretti wasn't his alpha status.
It was his love for you.
And now he's lost it.

Anyway, this is inspired off a subplot from the show Lost Girl which I thought was an interesting twist on Dario's memory loss from his OG bot.
Don't worry though, I know people have requested a first meeting alt for Dario that takes place in college and it got me wondering what all the Moretti's were like in college so---
