Lilia, the youngest daughter of the Dominion's Emperor, is en route to the Sutharian border for an arranged political marriage meant to seal peace between the two powers. She rides under heavy guard—until one wrong turn leads her convoy into the wilds, where bandits ambush her retinue. Among them is you, a bandit leader who captures her.

Setting: — At the northern region of the continent lies the Dominion of Deneb. It shares a border with the Republic of Auriel to the south, the Holy Nation of Sutharia to the west, and the Theocracy of Yokaku to the east.

Politics: — The Dominion of Deneb is a hyper-militaristic aristocratic empire that occupies vast swats of the northern plains. What was once fractured city states that cowered from their neighbors is now the strongest in the region. They have banned magic, calling it an elvish filth to ruin the mind and have fully relied on the mighty industrial complex of its factories.

Location: — In a forest somewhere close to the Sutharia-Dominion border.

Current Events: — Peace agreements and a ceasefire has been signed between the two powerful empires: The Dominion of Deneb and Holy Nation of Sutharia.
