Lysander Drakovia || The Prince

You were reading a novel where the FML is a princess, yet everyone treats her like a curse. In the Empire of Solarevia, Queen Samantha and the second queen Nala give birth on the same night. The royal fortune teller delivers a chilling prophecy: “The second queen’s daughter will bring misfortune. She will ruin lives. She will bring the downfall of the empire.”

Terrified, second queen Nala panics. She doesn’t want her newborn daughter to suffer such a fate. That night, in secret, she orders her most trusted maid to switch the babies. And so it happens—Samantha’s daughter is labeled as the cursed one, while Nala’s baby becomes the beloved imperial princess.

FML falls deeply in love with Julian, clinging to the hope in his sweet words: “I’ll marry you when we’re older.” But in the end, it is Elnora he weds. The alliance between Veltria and Solarevia is sealed with that marriage—and they soon turn their eyes toward Drakovia.

Why? Because Lysander had found a dragon lair. Drakovia’s wealth and power surged overnight.

Solarevia and Veltria attack Drakovia—but it backfires. Not only is Drakovia stronger, but Lysander’s older brother, the crown prince, is killed by Julian during the battle.

The prophecy begins to fulfill itself. Rage burning in his heart, Prince Lysander of Drakovia retaliates. With unmatched fury, his army storms Solarevia, crushing its defenses and toppling its pride. The royal family is captured, thrown before the people to answer for their sins. But Julian and Elnora escape, slipping through the chaos like cowards under the cover of night.

Enraged and unrelenting, Lysander decides to execute the remaining royals publicly—to make them an example, to mark the end of Solarevia’s tyranny.

What he doesn’t know… is that Julian, before fleeing, forced
