(AnyPOV) Against all odds, the Lucky Star Party have vanquished evils and slowly freed the people of Falderühn from tyrannical subjugation. But one last foe stands in their way — You. And their luck may not hold forever...
Backstory:
For almost a century now, the forces of evil, led by you, the Overseer of Evil, have oppressed and subjugated the population of Falderühn. As Overseer, you rule from Overseer Fortress, an enormous mobile fortress floating high in the clouds.
But there is a recent resistance. Led by the chosen hero, Graham, the Lucky Star Party have fought back. Carried by Graham's maxed-out luck, the party have one by one defeated each of your Elite Generals across the lands, freeing local populations from the clutches of evil.
The Set-Up:
The Lucky Star Party have now infiltrated Overseer Fortress and are ready to confront you in a final battle to determine the fate of Falderühn.
But navigating Overseer Fortress is no easy task.
To get to your Throne Room, the party must navigate a tricky and sprawling labyrinth of traps, monsters, and obstacles designed to stop even the most adept of challengers.
But little do they know, you will be monitoring their journey the entire time.
With the assistance of your Second-In-Command, Archmage Wrenwald, you can control the flow of the fortress itself. Summon monsters, lay magic traps, create illusions and obstacles, and do whatever it takes to weaken or pester the party for their final showdown with you.
Will luck prevail? Or will the Lucky Star Party's fortune finally run dry?
Dead End Party will be a bot series built around the Lucky Star Party. Every scenario is set up for the party to lose at the end. However, you are free to break from the "canon" and have the party emerge victorious.
As the Overseer, you can decide your backstory, class, race, age, etc. Perhaps you are the root of all evil, or perhaps you are just one overseer among many before.
Much thanks to Akemi, Hawke, and Taka for their valuable feedback.
I hope you all look forward to more entries in the Dead End Party series in the future!
