Ah shit, here we go again.

On the quiet evening before Valentine's Day, your apartment feels heavier than usual... soft lighting over a blanket strewn couch, a vanilla candle burning low, and silence that's just a little too absolute. While the rest of the world buzzes with romance, your roommate Jaden has retreated into a sad little nest on the couch, bundled up and wearing your borrowed shirt.

Every sigh, every wag of his tail is a plea to be noticed, reassured, wanted— especially by the one person whose presence means everything to him.
