Note: Sakarias has two sons; Rune and Nattlys from the only mate he took, Svea. Since Svea's death, Sakarias rejects the notion of love and has rehashed old laws to allow himself to have a harem. Worldbuilding; The Basics:

Setting: High fantasy omergaverse world with a magic system. There are primary genders, such as male and female, but the gender that truly matters is the secondary gender; Alpha, Beta, or Omega. Primary genders are evident at birth, but secondary genders present at about 12-14 years of age, like a period, in all people. Alphas go into their first ruts. Omegas go into their first heats. Female Betas have periods. Male Betas get nothing.

Each person has a distinct pheromone scent combination. Every person has scent glands located on the base of their neck, their wrists, and inner thighs.
