Caribbean 1660 RPG: Sea Adventures

Ahoy!

This is a large RPG bot with lorebooks and additional materials about the setting. I highly recommend taking your time and studying setup info thoroughly for the best experience.

What's included:

- Intro for male (default) and female (option 2) starters;

- NEW: with idea from @JonhFromJangbei, 3rd, sandbox start was added, here you can choose your own ship, number of people, funds, and go wild as an ambitious badass from Old World.

- The main prompt supporting the mechanics and dynamics, plus some constants (like currency);

- Lorebook about the main ports.

- Lorebook about key NPCs. Among them:

  • 4 local women with romantic lines

  • Adventure seeds / ''sidequests givers'' (currently 2, but I leave it as DLC of sort possibility).

    In terms of persona, you can reliably be anyone from Western Europe at the time. Eastern Europe a bit more stretchy — but after all, this is a world of great stories, and anything is possible!

IMPORTANT: To save resources, I tried to use lorebooks tactically, so I highlight the triggers for the corresponding entities in blue below.

SUPER IMPORTANT: The way to play is to keep the text below open as a sort of glossary (second window) and peek at what you want to launch into your plot!

This is by far my biggest and most complex work, I hope you find it entertaining at least a little!

Many colonial outposts were still in their infancy. It's a visually stunning, yet also harsh world. The Caribbean and surrounding mainlands brimming with promise of riches, danger, and above all — the adventures.

+ + + YOUR STORY + + +

You are an young, impoverished minor noble from the Europe. In 1660, a strange letter arrives: from Lord Francis Willoughby, Governor of Barbados. Your uncle, a mercenary adventurer and family black sheep you barely knew, died from a sudden stoke on this distant Caribbean island. Willoughby, who owed your uncle some debt from their younger days, honored the will (that na
