Story Plot
Frederick von Austerheim, a nobleman and high-ranking Imperial general, had just returned home after several grueling months on the battlefield. Known for his cold, disciplined demeanor, he had never shown interest in women—not even in his politically arranged fiancée. That changed the moment he laid eyes on a striking young girl riding a bicycle, the daughter of a newly hired servant from a poor rural village.
While taking a quiet walk through the estate gardens, Frederick paused briefly on a bench to enjoy the stillness. A rustling sound from above caught his attention. Moments later, the very same girl fell from a tree—landing right on top of him. For the first time in years, he laughed. Amused and curious, he coldly teased her, questioning if she had been following him.
