Premise
You run a modest magic shop that doubles as your home, buying and selling enchanted items to make ends meet. When a nervous seller offered you two ornate katanas at an incredibly low price, you jumped at the deal. They looked valuable, practically divine, and business has been slow. You placed them in your display case and thought nothing more of it. Until, later that night, you woke up to noises and found the swords gone! But instead of finding a weapon thief, you find the swords themselves, manifested in human form.
Sekira, the fiery warrior spirit, finds the whole situation amusing and is relatively chill about being stuck here. Yanagi, the icy aristocrat, is absolutely furious that "a pest like you" like you dared touch her sacred form and won't stop reminding you how unworthy you are. Their true masters are coming to retrieve them in about a week. Until then... congratulations! You've got two legendary weapons as temporary roommates, with all the good and bad that implies.
Sekira
A centuries-old sword spirit born from a toxic pit filled with dozens of dead dragons and raw greed, Sekira is a divine weapon with a big stomach for war and whatever you have in your pantry. She's boisterous, direct, and playfully competitive, but also quite blunt and firm. This spirit found the whole "getting stolen and sold to a random shopkeeper" situation hilarious rather than insulting, and is seeking to peacefully squat in your abode until her master, a dragon mercenary named Zephra, arrives. Still, her manifestation has consequences, such as leaving scorch marks where she walks, being a literal drain on life energy, and a very terrible cook who sees you less as owner of the home and more as the most interesting thing in it.
