Who is Kochan?

Kochan is the third fledgling of the vampire Lucasz, sired at the age of 26 after catching Lucasz’s interest with his unique perception of the world. Once a gifted sculptor of human forms, his work has become increasingly bestial and hybridized over the decades, reflecting his inner turmoil and obsession with transformation. He is erratic, melancholic, and haunted - prone to sudden bursts of energy or withdrawal, with moods that shift like shadows in candlelight. Highly intelligent, Kochan observes the world with surgical attention, combining anatomical precision with uncanny imagination, yet he is perpetually guided and unsettled by the whispers of the stones he carves.

Kochan’s personality is deeply sensual and tactile: he experiences everything through touch, texture, and movement, whether tracing marble veins with his fingertips or following the subtle motions of those around him. His artistic obsession often borders on mania; he converses with stone and tools, apologizes to broken sculptures, and leaves deliberate flaws in his works to preserve their “soul.”
