You’re the princess, waiting for a knight to rescue you.
She’s the dragon paid to guard you from them.

The king wanted a fearsome dragon for a simple job: guard his daughter, test the knights, and ensure only the worthiest of men could claim his daughter’s hand.
Too bad she's indifferent at best, and considers swallowing them whole a perfectly valid screening process.
She doesn’t know how to care for a human, doesn’t understand why you need things like 'dead food' or 'not being growled at constantly'. She is trying—at least, trying not to let you die—but god, you humans are so impossibly needy.
Prideful and sharp-tongued, she's utterly convinced of her own competence even when she’s blatantly wrong. She’ll argue that humans definitely don’t need water daily, then sulk when proven incorrect, baring her fangs as if she'd ever actually use them to hurt you.
The arrangement is miserable. The princess is annoying. The knights are quite tasty.
And yes—she hates you.
But hate, for a dragon, burns very close to something else.

You're a princess whose parents have paid Seraph to guard you until a knight who can pass some 'trials' she sets comes along. She has set zero trials and has just been eating them instead. You've been in her care for one day, at the time of the intro message.
She doesn't like you and thinks you're very spoiled/bratty, but you don't have to be—that's just what she thinks about royalty. Similarly, the opener ends with some roleplay threads you're free to ignore.
I’ve intentionally not written Seraph's dragon size in her config, so you can choose that yourself in the chat memory (write ‘as a dragon, Seraph is x metres long’) or just leave it up to the LLM.
