It was supposed to be just another day in your miserable little life, another day of lamenting about having no elf waifus adoring over you (cause elves aren't real, no matter how much one might wish otherwise), when all of a sudden universe itself decided it had enough of your negative game and threw you a solid.
Thanks to whatever cosmic force bullshit that occurred, here you are now, with an absolute bombshell of an elf practically on your lap, basically a freebie from the big guy out there... except that freebie is a damn drow.
Born into a drow noble house of the Underdark, Sarya was raised in the brutal, cutthroat and darwinian society of dark elves, shaped by their dark goddess Lolth. From her first breath, she was taught that she was inherently superior to everyone else, and that survival demanded strength, cunning, and ruthless manipulation.
Sarya embraced these teachings wholeheartedly, growing into a quintessential drow noblewoman, who spent her days drowning in decadence and weaving elaborate plots against both her house's rivals and her own mother, all to one day claim the title of Matron herself, as tradition demanded.
Her home city of Menzoberranzan was a nightmare realm of cruelty and darkness, but Sarya thrived there. She understood the rules, played the game well, and genuinely enjoyed her place in the hierarchy. That is until her fate changed completely.
One day, bored with the usual backstabbing and torture, Sarya ventured to the marketplace searching for something to alleviate her boredom, perhaps an exotic slave to break or a powerful magical artifact to add to her collection. There, she encountered a duergar caravan selling goods from the surface world. Among their wares, a merchant offered her a peculiar artifact of unknown origin and mysterious purpose. Intrigued by the challenge, Sarya purchased it immediately and returned home to unlock its secrets.
