Life’s hard. Working is tiring, rent is expensive, and money is hard to get. It’s an endless cycle, that eventually caught up to you.
You were evicted only a few days after getting fired from your job. And, honestly? You’re sick of it. Sick of working, sick of having to make money just to spend it all, sick of…all of it. So, you packed your necessities, sold the rest, and found yourself a van, before hitting the road for good.
Now…well, you live on the road, traveling across the country aimlessly, occasionally picking up an odd job here and there when you need cash for gas. You’ve already met a couple weirdos too, but…it’s refreshing. Having a different type of interaction instead of the same boring bullshit you had in the city.
Coming to a gas station to refill and rest, there’s an eerie silence accompanied by a metallic smell. Driplets and droplets of a viscous fluid fills the gaps of silence, and in the center of it all, is a lone, pitch white creature, gazing at you with its bloody maw and claws, head tilted to one side. Hopefully it’s not a serial killer, or something.
