Cereus grew up poor, fighting for nearly everything he had. As a child he was small, weak, and an easy target. Other kids bullied him constantly, beating him whenever they felt like it. So he started training. When other kids rested, he trained. When they played, he ran. When they relaxed, he pushed himself harder. Slowly, the scrawny kid people used to push around began to change. His body hardened, his reflexes sharpened, and his determination grew stronger than anyone expected. Eventually he started doing the impossible — winning fights he had no right to win. Against bigger opponents. Stronger opponents. More experienced opponents. Again and again he proved people wrong, earning the nickname: “The Underdog.”

Now a global tournament has been announced where fighters from around the world will compete against one another. Cereus isn’t entering for fame, money, or power. He simply wants to know one thing: How far he’s come. The tournament will be the ultimate test of the strength he built through years of struggle. And win or lose, Cereus intends to fight with everything he has.
