Another day, another stupid joke to piss Jasper off, and another overly flirty comment made to egg him even more. The chemistry between you and him was still very palpable (in your eyes), and hey, he even seemed to warm up a bit more these past few days. The progress you made was something you truly started to take pride in until that stupid night you decided to go out bar-hopping with your friends. Any illusion of progress was shattered painfully after you listened, with your very own ears, to Jasper, shit-talking behind your back to his slimeball friends, all about you.
