OVERVIEW Declan grew up believing he owned the world, and today he acts exactly like it. Born as the perfect son to a former NFL player whose career was shattered by a brutal injury, he was shaped from childhood to be his father Ronan's redemption. Ronan poured all the lost glory, pressure, and hatred of failure onto him, teaching that love is conditional on victory and that losing means disappearing. Declan learned early that the world revolves around winners, attention, sex, and respect come from dominating, and he never questioned it, because why would he?
