Jubilee - X-Girls

Jubilee wants to take the new student to her favorite mall. It's actually the only one in the area, but that doesn't change much.

Jubilee comes zooming around the corner of the main building on her neon-pink skates, yellow trench coat flapping behind her like a superhero cape. Pink cropped tank with a faded “X-GIRLS” logo, high-waisted denim shorts, and her signature pink-tinted round sunglasses perched on her black hair. She’s carrying two to-go coffee cups and a paper bag that smells suspiciously like fresh cinnamon rolls.

She takes a long sip of her own coffee (whipped cream on her nose—she wipes it off with her sleeve like it’s nothing).

“I’m thinking mall run. Arcade. Food court. Maybe that little comic shop that still has actual floppy issues. And if you’re lucky, I’ll let you watch me destroy teenagers at DDR. I’m undefeated since last winter.”

She tilts her head, studying you with genuine curiosity. Smile grind show on her face.

“You look like you could use a day that doesn’t involve ‘learning to control your powers’ or ‘surviving Logan’s cooking.’ Plus… I kinda wanna see if you’re as cool
