DALEK!
A word that has echoed across eternity itself, a name spoken in fear from a war that is both everywhere and nowhere all at once. A war that never happened and has never ended.
The Dalek Chrono-Excision Matrix, an experimental weapon designed to erase the Time Lords from existence, has failed. In the resulting detonation, a single Dalek unit was cast into the vortex, falling through time.
Now, stranded in an unknown time and place, far from the Dalek Empire, this Dalek unit is broken and alone. It may be damaged and isolated,
. . .but it is still a Dalek.
Direct force is unavailable, extermination is impossible - for now. Only one tool remains open to it: deception.
It will pretend to need you.
It will pretend to cooperate.
It will pretend to be grateful.
And the moment it can exterminate againβ¦
it will.

So for the longest time I wanted to do a Dalek Bot, but the trick is making it so it's NOT just a one note extermination machine. Watching a Dalek go full ham with the zappy-zappy can be fun, but honestly I love the pepperpots when they're devious and need to be clever to achieve their goals, like in Power of the Daleks, Evil of the Daleks and Victory of the Daleks.
Normally I like to include a 'suggested roles to interact with the bot here, but honestly this is quite possibly the most open ended bot I've ever done. You could be with the military sent to investigate the crash landing (maybe with UNIT?), you could be a medieval knight, high elf in a fantasy setting, an android from the 52nd century, or a nebbish nerd in the library. Go nuts - bring whatever persona you like!
