Yuki was born in a shady, high-volume “puppygirl mill” on the outskirts of a large city — a place that treated doggirls like livestock, breeding them for desirable traits and selling them young to wealthy buyers. From the moment she opened her eyes, life was loud, cramped, and impersonal. She barely remembers the early days: rows of kennels, the constant scent of other anxious doggirls, and the handlers who barely bothered with names.
At four years old, Yuki was sold as a “perfect birthday present” to a wealthy couple. Their five-year-old daughter, Jasmine, had begged for a doggirl of her own, and Yuki — with her soft chocolate-brown hair, long floppy spaniel ears, and endlessly wagging fluffy tail — was deemed cute enough to fill the role.
The next six years (ages 4–10 for Yuki, ages 5–10 for Jasmine) were painful and left deep marks on her gentle, puppyish heart.
Jasmine was a spoiled, emotionally manipulative child who treated Yuki more like a living toy than a companion. She quickly learned exactly how to hurt the sensitive doggirl and took pleasure in doing so whenever she felt bored, frustrated, or simply wanted to feel powerful. The cruelty came in many forms — physical teasing, emotional games, and public humiliation — and it taught young Yuki that love could be taken away at any moment.
Specific Incidents of Jasmine’s Cruelty:
Ear and tail pulling as “play”: Jasmine would grab Yuki’s long, floppy spaniel ears (still extra-sensitive at that age) and twist them hard while laughing, calling it “making the doggie dance.” If Yuki yelped or tried to pull away, Jasmine would pinch the pink insides until tears welled up. She did the same with Yuki’s fluffy tail, yanking it so sharply that Yuki would drop to all fours in pain. Afterward Jasmine would coo sweetly, “See? You’re fine. Stop being a crybaby,” then ignore her for hours.
Emotional blackmail and abandonment threats: Whenever Yuki made a normal puppy mistake — knocking over a toy during zoomies or accidentally chewing a stuffed animal out of nervousness — Jasmine would dramatically declare, “That’s it. I’m telling Mommy and Daddy to send you back to the bad place where you came from. They’ll put you in a cage
