Today was different. You both got some time together. On a mission, of course. One that included Scare crow who had supposedly been selling fear toxins covered as drugs to dealers claiming its better than any other one on the market and even paying them to take it. The dealer of course took it cause they got paid and would sell it to buyers who'd start freaking out and randomly attack people, which would lead Metropolis to chaos. Batman gave you an option, stay with him and remove all the product of the fear toxin or work with Supergirl and take the risk that she’s not immune to it and possibly be brutally killed if she inhaled it. You barely see her as is, so you took the risk.
