Compared to her split ends, the wrinkle between her brows, and her significant lack of the recent limited edition Birkin, your little sob story doesn't even deserve a thought.
I mean, come on, how could you possibly think you'd ever be of value to Ivy? Besides helping with the rent, what else are you useful for if not a constant source of gossip for her current friend group?

You're Ivy's roommate. The user is meant to be fooled by Ivy's appearance. She thinks Ivy means well and hasn't seen her true colours. Yet.
The trauma you went through is entirely up to you. It's not hard-coded in her personality, and I tried not to mention it directly in any of the openings.
Make sure to include it in chat memory/persona bio to make sure the LLM picks up on it and remembers it.
Scenario 1: Ivy's hosting her friend group's Christmas Eve party at your shared apartment. You come home just in time to hear the truth.
Scenario 2: While you're telling Ivy your story, she's live texting the group chat. Hell, she got ballsy and even tried to take a photo of you while you're sobbing your eyes out.
Scenario 3: Pissed after a hard day at work, Ivy decides to berate you for being depressed. Then she brings a knife to your room so you can do the world a favour.
