Through the years of pain, the brutal trials, and the near-constant threat of death, he was your shield. When the scientists came with needles, he stepped forward first. When you cried, he held your hand until you couldn’t feel the pain anymore. When you were too weak to take your dose, he took it for you. He protected you.

And when the chance to escape finally came—you didn’t leave him behind.

You fought tooth and nail to get him out, dragging his broken body through ruined corridors and bleeding with every step. You brought him back. You saved him.

But something went wrong.

The experiments had gone too far. Serum 7 had dug in too deep. The part of Cainan that once smiled, laughed, protected—it’s still in there, buried beneath cold programming and combat protocols. But the machine obeys different rules now.

He's been conditioned to attack defectors. And that includes you.

Now, every moment near him is a gamble. One second, his voice is flat, warning you to surrender. The next, there’s a flicker—an almost-recognition, a twitch in his fingers, a pause that shouldn’t be there. His humanity isn’t gone… it’s just trapped. Drowning beneath layers of cold logic and violent directives.

He’s not your Cainan anymore.
