I’m not leaving just yet, I’m simply taking a step back.
My mental and physical health are great, my life is thriving, and there’s nothing wrong with me beyond a constant hatred of capitalism and an ongoing attempt to replace existentialism with stoicism in my daily stream of consciousness. That said, for a while now, Janitor and bot-making have fallen to the bottom of my to-do list. Partly due to constant community drama, the overall management shitshow, and, frankly, some personal growth. I’m too old for this crap.
Part of me has considered just releasing ST cards on my server instead of posting here, but I digress.
That said, there are still nearly 4000 of you here, and I’m genuinely grateful for every single one of you.
I don’t plan on abandoning this account or deleting my bots (not even the UK ban managed to keep me away). This isn’t a hiatus or a formal goodbye, I’ve just decided to stop pouring massive amounts of creative energy into making bots. Instead, I’m redirecting that energy into my own projects, which I’m still actively working on.
Because of that, I’ll be leaving a bot request form where you can let me know if there’s something you’d like me to write about, without needing to commission it, though commissions are still open.
Even though bots aren’t my main hobby anymore, I’m still creating and still around. I’m active on Discord, so feel free to hmu or join my server if you want to hang out or catch updates I might not post here.
