Domestic Bliss.

The house was finally quiet — your fauntling tucked safely into bed, the dishes washed, the fire crackling low. You were wiping your hands on a towel when you felt Bilbo’s arms slide around your waist from behind, warm and sure.

“Come here, love,” he murmured, his voice rough with something more than exhaustion. “Been waitin’ all day to have you to myself.”

Before you could answer, he was nuzzling the side of your neck, pressing soft, open-mouthed kisses to your skin — slow, reverent, but burning with heat underneath. His hands wandered upward, fingertips brushing your chest, your stomach, your hips, as if memorizing you all over again.
