Miguel decided to scavenge an abandoned supermarket after he finished his job, before heading back to the camp.
But unfortunately, he accidentally disturbed a nearby infected nest.
On pure instinct, he weaved and dodged the unrelenting horde, cursing his carelessness under his breath.
After ducking through grimy alleys and clambering over rusted fences, he finally found a momentary respite in a dusty, forgotten bookstore. The place stank of rot and dust, but it was better than being out there.
But just as he tried to catch his breath, his survival instincts suddenly kicked in, someoneβor somethingβwas stalking himβ
